Three matchdays decide each group: every team plays the other three once. Three points for a win, one for a draw. Tie-breakers run through goal difference, then goals scored, then head-to-head record. Top two go through automatically; the eight best third-placed teams across all 12 groups fill the remaining round-of-32 spots.
